Extra features for better UX

How easy it is to offer a better User Experience? Your app probably has access to a lot of data from your device (iPhone). An easy way to make users love your app is to show something unexpected but super useful, similar to what WhatsApp Desktop do. They show the battery charge level of my iPhone. How cool and super useful feature to the end-user. Showing my battery charge level has nothing to do with the functionality of the WhatsApp app as it will continue working even if my iPhone dies, yet they do it, and because of that simple thoughtful act I like them even more. Surely you can add a feature like this to your app, or think of a better one. What would users appreciate beyond your core app features?

Problem: My iPhone battery charge level is low but I have not idea since I am using the WhatsApp Desktop app.
Solution: Show a notification "Phone battery low" on the WhatsApp Desktop app, even though it is not a core features and it won't prevent users from using the desktop app when their phone dies. Very thoughtful; shows they care.
